NextMed is seeking Traveling Surgical Laser Technologists to join our mobile team. You will travel weekly across the United States, handling laser operations in URS cases under the guidance of a urologist. Training is provided to promote autonomous, high-quality patient care.

Candidates should have operating room experience, basic sterile processing exposure, and the ability to handle heavy equipment. DOT physicals, background checks, and drug testing are required.

Formación

• Operating room experience preferred.
• Surgical technician or sterile processing experience a plus.
• Ability to push/pull and manipulate over 100 pounds of equipment.
• Must pass Department of Transportation physical and background checks.
• Excellent communication and HIPAA awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Frequent weekly travel to medical facilities.
• Transport medical equipment to venues for procedures.
• Operate laser in OR and assist physician during URS cases.
• Document case activities per company policies, HIPAA compliant.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

TRAVELING SURGICAL LASER TECHNOLOGIST We are looking for candidates to add to our Traveling Technologist team Not only will traveling give you a sense of adventure each week but you will also enjoy autonomy and the rewards of delivering therapeutic patient care in the Urology space We offer a leveled up training experience for our employees to prepare for resilient autonomous work in the field This specialized field puts you in control of treating patients directly with the guidance of a Urologist You would be trained by highly skilled technologists that have been in the field for many years

SKILLS and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Frequent travel on a weekly basis
• Transport medical equipment to various medical facilities to include loading and unloading of all pertinent equipment to perform the procedure
• Operate laser in operating room and assist physician during URS cases
• Document required case activities in accordance with company policies while adhering to HIPAA guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Operating room experience preferred
• Surgical technician experience or sterile processing experience a plus
• Ability to push pull and or manipulate over 100 pounds of medical equipment
• Strong communication skills in communication with a variety of audiences
• Successfully complete the following Department of Transportation physical
• Criminal background check
• Driver license check
• Drug test
