Job summary

NextMed is seeking Traveling Technologists to join its expanding team. You will travel weekly to healthcare facilities across the US, transporting and setting up surgical laser equipment, and supporting URS procedures under a Urologist's guidance.

The role emphasizes autonomy, hands-on patient care, and a strong training program to prepare for field resilience. candidates should meet travel, safety, and HIPAA requirements and enjoy independent work with a focus on patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Operating room experience preferred.
• Surgical technician experience a plus.
• Ability to push, pull and/or manipulate over 100 pounds of medical equipment.
• Strong communication skills with a variety of audiences.

Responsibilities

• Frequent travel on a weekly basis to medical facilities.
• Transport medical equipment to facilities and load/unload equipment for procedures.
• Operate laser in the operating room and assist physician during URS cases.
• Document required case activities in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
