NextMed seeks traveling Surgical Laser Technologists to join a mobile team delivering therapeutic urology care across the US. You will travel weekly, transport equipment, operate laser in OR, and assist physicians under supervision.

Training is provided to build autonomy in this field. Requirements include OR experience or surgical tech background, strong communication, and the ability to handle heavy equipment, with pre-employment screenings required.

Qualifications

• Operating room experience preferred.
• Surgical technician experience or sterile processing experience a plus.
• Able to push, pull and manipulate over 100 pounds of medical equipment.
• Strong communication skills with diverse audiences.
• Complete required screenings: transportation physical, background checks, license verification, drug test.

Responsabilités

• Frequent travel on a weekly basis to multiple facilities.
• Transport and set up medical equipment for procedures.
• Operate laser in the operating room and assist the physician during URS cases.
• Document case activities in line with HIPAA and company policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

We offer a leveled-up training experience for our employees to prepare for resilient, autonomous work in the field. This specialized field puts you in control of treating patients directly, with the guidance of a Urologist. You would be trained by highly skilled technologists that have been in the field for many years.

Traveling Technologists are trained and credentialed to work throughout the US. We pay for work-related travel expenses. At each work (route) destination, our Travelers are mobile Surgical Laser Technologists.

SKILLS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Frequent travel on a weekly basis


• Transport medical equipment to various medical facilities to include loading and unloading of all pertinent equipment to perform the procedure.


• Operate laser in operating room and assist physician during URS cases.


• Document required case activities in accordance with company policies while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.


• Other duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION:

• Education and experience may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Operating room experience preferred.
