Job summary

Cooper Tacia is seeking a traveling superintendent to lead on-site management for New York City construction projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and to high-quality standards. You will work closely with Project Managers, mentor Assistant Superintendents, and coordinate subcontractors to maximize performance and safety.

Offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus, this full-time role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and delivering complex commercial projects across the Southeast and NYC

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in commercial construction.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating trades on-site.
• Experience with the logistics and challenges of NYC construction.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed timelines.
• Proven leadership, mentorship and communication skills.
• Valid, insurable U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong, hands-on leadership on the job site and mentor Superintendent staff.
• Oversee management of construction sites and coordinate subcontractors and employees.
• Mentor and develop Assistant Superintendents for career growth.
• Coordinate work of subcontractors to ensure timely, high-quality completion.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation (logs/reports).
• Implement quality control processes to uphold standards.
