Traveling Superintendent - Minnesota Travel role at Michael Page

Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Seeking an experienced superintendent to travel in Minnesota to oversee and run projects. Based in the Twin Cities, the client is a well-respected General Contractor focused on growth on a national scale.

Responsibilities

• 100% travel (projects can be anywhere in the U.S.; project durations typically 18 months to 2 years; travel home every other weekend).
• Run and manage projects from start to finish.
• Oversee the full construction project on a daily basis.
• Coordinate to resolve issues with materials or methods.
• Establish and maintain an effective, professional on-site working relationship with Owners, Architects, Consulting Engineers and other project-related parties.

Profile

• A minimum of 7 years\' experience in construction field management/supervision.
• Experience in federal projects is preferred; work for the VA is advantageous.
• Partnership approach to working with contractors, designers and clients.
• MS Office Suite knowledge and excellent computer skills.
• Proficient in MS Project Scheduling.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead a team.
• Self-motivation with good time-management skills.
• Travel is required.

Job Offer

• Base Salary: $100,000 - $130,000, dependent on experience.
• Bonus.
• (3) Weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO).
• $3,000 - $7,000/month for travel dependent on state.
• Home at least once a month.
