Job summary

Redmond Construction Corp is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead field execution across workplace, retail, hospitality, healthcare, lab and life sciences, mission critical, and education sectors. This role requires extensive travel and on-site leadership nationwide, with the Chicago office serving as home base.

The ideal candidate has 5-15+ years as a Superintendent, strong coordination of sitework, MEP, finishes, and turnover, and excellent communication with clients, design

Qualifications

• 5-15+ years as a Superintendent with ground up and interior renovation experience.
• Experience managing sitework, structural work, MEP coordination, finishes, punch and turnover.
• Lab, clean room, and mission critical experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead highly detailed, regulated corporate interior projects from planning through closeout.
• Strong professional communication with clients, design teams, trade partners, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead kickoff meetings and manage trade partner relationships.
• Oversee site setup, logistics, and inventory control.
• Prepare field tickets, change orders, and document claims.
• Create schedules, 3-week lookaheads, and monitor progress.
• Maintain on-site safety oversight and training.
• Submit weekly field and daily logs via Procore.
