Job summary

Redmond Construction is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead field execution on projects nationwide from our Chicago base. You will manage trade partners, site safety, and field operations across workplace, hospitality, healthcare, and life sciences sectors, with extensive travel required.

This role emphasizes strong leadership, proactive problem solving, and clear communication with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 5–15+ years of experience as a Superintendent on ground up or interior renovation projects.
• Experience leading field execution across multiple trades and phases.
• Lab, clean room, and mission-critical project experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead field kickoff meetings with project teams and trade partners.
• Maintain on-site safety oversight and enforce PPE and signage.
• Manage day-to-day trade partner relationships and site logistics.
• Create schedules with PMs and monitor 3-week lookaheads.
• Draft field RFIs and manage change orders with PMs.
