Job summary

ARCO, a Family of Construction Companies, is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead high-end commercial and entertainment build-outs with 5-15+ years of leadership experience. This role requires willingness to travel nationwide and manage field operations from day one, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery.

You will coordinate with project teams, owners, and subcontractors, uphold safety standards, and drive quality across all project phases.

Qualifications

• 5-25+ years of construction experience with at least 5 years as a lead superintendent on high-end commercial or entertainment builds.
• Willing to travel nationally.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and project scheduling programs.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including long periods of standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award review meetings to receive project information and preplanning details.
• Assist in preparing a schedule of activities, staffing, and equipment needs with the project manager.
• Direct and control the project to meet specifications and schedule within budget.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to integrate work with project schedules.
• Inform supervisors and subcontractors of schedule changes promptly.
• Prepare and review job progress and cost reports.
• Review and approve requisitions, POs, invoices and other reports.
• Cooperate with owners, architects, and owner representatives throughout the project.
• Hold site meetings and report to the project manager on progress, plans and cost impact.
• Maintain a daily diary of project facts and approvals.
• Ensure adherence to the company safety program.
• Make decisions under tight deadlines and organize resources effectively.
• Demonstrate leadership and address conflicts and challenges.
• Maintain commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
• Act with integrity and uphold company values.
