Job summary

LVI Associates seeks a Construction Superintendent to lead on-site execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the Southeast. You will supervise crews, manage schedules, and ensure safety and quality from startup through closeout.

The role requires coordinating with Owners, Engineers, and Inspectors, while traveling throughout Alabama, the Florida Panhandle, and surrounding areas to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience in water/wastewater or heavy civil construction.
• Experience building or rehabilitating water treatment plants, wastewater plants, pump stations, lift stations, and underground utilities.
• Strong knowledge of concrete structures, process piping, mechanical systems, and civil sitework.
• Ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors on complex infrastructure projects.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities from project startup through closeout.
• Supervise field personnel, subcontractors, equipment, and daily operations.
• Coordinate project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved safely and efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality control, and environmental standards.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Owners, Engineers, and Inspectors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct daily planning meetings, progress updates, and site inspections.
• Manage manpower, materials, equipment utilization, and subcontractor performance.
• Identify and resolve field issues to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and communication with project stakeholders.

Travel Throughout the Southeast U.S.

A leading heavy civil and utility contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the construction of water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, and related utility infrastructure projects throughout the Southeast. The majority of projects are located in Southern Alabama and the Florida Panhandle, with additional work throughout the region as needed.

• Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast and work where projects are located.
