Job summary

Global Partners LP seeks a Floating Store Manager to learn store operations, supervise staff, and support multiple locations. You will train on company policies, maximize profits, and ensure excellent customer service and store appearance.

Travel is required as you assist other stores under a dynamic leadership model. The role offers hands-on training, exposure to inventory control, and responsibilities spanning daily finance, staff development, and promotional execution.

Qualifications

• ServSafe or other approved Food Safety Certification within 90 days of employment or promotion.
• Ability to communicate with associates and guests.
• Ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork.
• Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions.
• Assist in covering manager vacancies in other store locations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a quality buying experience for all customers.
• Perform competitive gas price surveys daily or as required.
• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by noon to accounting office.
• Make daily bank deposits by noon.
• Account for ATM and Lottery funds daily, and make deposits (where applicable).
• Keep accurate fuel inventory records and report variations.
• Recruit, hire, train, motivate, develop, discipline staff using appropriate documentation.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Order and receive merchandise using inventory guidelines.
• Coordinate gasoline deliveries and ensure adequate fuel levels.
• Maintain compliance binder and implement company promotions.
• Control inventory variations to 1% of sales or less.
• Assist in keeping cash over/shorts to $100 per month or less.
• Audit cashier paperwork for accuracy.
• Maintain image standards and conduct image surveys.
• Report maintenance issues to management.
• Price book upkeep and security camera operation where applicable.
• Run PDI reports and related functions.
• Schedule and monitor payroll hours daily, weekly, and bi-weekly.
