Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Floater Property Manager (Storage) based in Richlands, NC, to travel between storage centers providing coverage and relief as needed. You will adapt to different properties, maintain standards, and support operations across locations.

You will drive sales and occupancy goals, deliver outstanding customer service, handle payments and daily financial tasks, and coordinate with on-site teams and contractors. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred.
• Experience in sales, retail, or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Valid driver\'s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Travel between properties to provide coverage for staffing shortages and peak periods.
• Adapt to procedures and customer bases at each site.
• Engage customers in person and by phone to meet occupancy goals.
• Deliver prompt, professional customer service and resolve issues.
• Process payments, invoices, and daily financial transactions.
• Monitor occupancy and pricing to maximize profitability.
• Manage delinquent accounts and follow lien policies.
• Submit reports to Area or District Manager.
• Coordinate with contractors or vendors for larger repairs.
• Mentor new hires and share best practices with on-site teams.
