CareOne at Oradell is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality care to residents. The SLP will be assigned to multiple facilities, requiring substantial travel time as part of an integrated interdisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes efficient, outcome-driven rehabilitation and cost-conscious treatment planning. Applicants should hold a Master’s in Speech Therapy and a valid state license.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Therapy is required.
• Current and active Speech Language Pathology license in the state of operation.
• Experience with older adult rehabilitation preferred.
• Knowledge of governmental and regulatory guidelines in healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides and directs resident rehabilitation care within all generally accepted practice methods, meeting center, state, federal, and accrediting standards.
• Evaluates residents' needs and establishes effective treatment plans for assigned residents.
• Manages and coordinates supervision of treatment plans with all staff and other disciplines.
• Participates in screening residents according to schedules and practices.
• Provides feedback to the supervisor on clinical and rehabilitation issues.
• Participates in all center-directed processes and services.
• Manages treatment and non-treatment related activities effectively.
• Performs necessary clinical documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
