Job summary

CareOne in Brookline, MA, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our skilled nursing and long-term care teams. The SLP will be assigned to multiple facilities, with travel between sites becoming a frequent part of the role, and will participate as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality resident care.

A Master's Degree in Speech Therapy, an active SLP license in Massachusetts, and experience in older adult rehabilitation are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Therapy required.
• Current and Active Speech Language Pathology license in the operating state.
• Experience in older adult rehabilitation preferred.
• Knowledge of governmental/regulatory guidelines in healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides and directs resident rehabilitation care per standards.
• Evaluates residents and creates effective treatment plans.
• Coordinates supervision of treatment plans with staff and disciplines.
• Screens residents according to schedules and practices.
• Provides feedback to supervisor on clinical issues.
• Participates in center processes and services.
• Manages treatment and non-treatment activities.
• Maintains billing records to meet requirements.
• Assists with marketing efforts as directed.
• May travel to other facilities to provide services.

Education

Master's Degree in Speech Therapy

Current and Active SLP license

Older adult rehabilitation experience (preferred)

Regulatory guidelines knowledge (preferred)
