Timeless Construction, LLC is seeking a Traveling Site Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial projects across North and South Carolina, directing subcontractors, ensuring safety, and upholding schedules. The role involves frequent travel to multiple sites and coordinating with owners and inspectors to maintain quality.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial construction field management, interior renovations experience, blueprint reading skills, and OSHA 30 certification.

Qualifications

• Experience with interior build outs and renovations.
• Commercial construction field management (5+ years).
• OSHA 30-hour Construction Certification required.
• Multi-project and multi-location management experience.
• Blueprint reading and construction sequencing across all trades.
• IBC/local jurisdiction experience NC/SC building codes.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily field operations on assigned commercial projects coordinating all trades and subcontractors.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and toolbox talks ensuring 100% safety compliance.
• Maintain or exceed project schedules; coordinate material deliveries and sequencing.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure specification compliance with QA Manager and clients.
• Communicate progress to Project Manager; identify schedule risks and change opportunities.
• Travel to project locations across NC/SC with possible extended assignments.
• Work extended hours as needed and demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving.

Job Description

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITY

Properly and effectively communicating with and managing subcontractors and vendors. Meeting tight schedules, understanding blueprints, maintaining quality and safety on jobsites. Documenting projects, meeting owners, managing inspections and successfully executing projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct daily field operations on assigned commercial projects coordinating all trades, managing subcontractors, and ensuring productive workflow across multiple geographic locations
• Conduct daily safety inspections and toolbox talks ensuring 100% compliance with Timeless safety standards and achieving zero OSHA recordable incidents
• Maintain or exceed set project schedules. Handling communication and logistics coordinating material deliveries, equipment, subcontractor sequencing, and resolving field issues within 24 hours
• Ensure quality execution monitoring workmanship, conducting inspections with QA Manager, and maintaining specification compliance throughout constructionCommunicate proactively with Project Manager providing daily progress updates, identifying schedule risks, budget concerns, and change order opportunities
• Travel as needed to project locations across North and South Carolina with flexibility for extended assignments (weeks to months)
• Work extended hours as needed to deliver projects on time.
• Good communication skills and problem solving ability.

Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS

Technical:

• Experience with interior build outs and renovations.
• Commercial construction field management (5+ years experience)
• OSHA 30-hour construction certification (required)
• Multi-project and multi-location management experience
• Blueprint reading and construction sequencing across all trades
• All-trades commercial construction knowledge (concrete, steel, masonry, MEP, envelope, finishes)
• Construction means and methods for commercial buildings
• Site logistics and temporary facilities planning
• Building codes and inspection processes (IBC, local jurisdictions NC/SC)
• Sage Construction Management mobile app proficiency
• CPM scheduling understanding and critical path management
• Material handling, equipment coordination, and crane operations knowledge
