Job summary

Carolina Builders and Design LLC is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations in the Greensboro–Winston-Salem–High Point area. You will supervise subcontractors, maintain schedules, and ensure safety and quality on commercial projects.

Responsibilities include coordinating inspections, managing RFIs, submittals, and punch lists, while keeping thorough site documentation and communicating with project managers and clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial or hotel construction (field role).
• Experience managing ground-up through project completion.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Procore proficiency and field documentation skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and site compliance.
• Ability to maintain schedule and coordinate multiple trades.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction site operations and ensure work per plans.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and field crews.
• Maintain and enforce project schedule with the Project Manager.
• Monitor quality control and compliance with drawings/specs.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and conduct daily site walks.
• Coordinate inspections with local authorities and track progress.
• Support RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings from a field view.
• Maintain daily logs, reports, and site documentation (Procore).
• Coordinate material deliveries, storage, and sequencing.
• Lead punch list and project closeout activities.

Job description

The Site Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greensboro–Winston-Salem–High Point area, responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations on construction projects. This role coordinates and supervises subcontractors and site staff, ensures work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standards. The Site Superintendent monitors site progress, conducts regular inspections, manages daily reports, and communicates effectively with project managers, clients, and design professionals. Responsibilities include implementing safety programs, managing materials and equipment deliveries, resolving on-site issues, and supporting project scheduling, change management, and punch list completion. The role also involves maintaining a clean, organized job site and representing Carolina Builders and Design professionally with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
