Job summary

Renovo Construction is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee on-site construction across multiple sites. You will supervise subcontractors, vendors, and laborers while ensuring OSHA compliance and robust site safety practices.

The role requires rigorous scheduling, coordination with clients, and the ability to travel frequently across the country. Ground up experience is a must, with 5+ years in commercial construction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of construction supervisory experience in commercial construction.
• Ground up experience is a MUST.
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, etc.
• Experience scheduling work, materials, manpower, subcontractors and equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site construction and supervise subcontractors, vendors and laborers.
• Plan, oversee and enforce site safety (OSHA) and site organization.
• Manage project documents with subcontractors.
• Create and update the 2-week look ahead weekly.
• Collaborate with client and property team to maintain critical path schedule.

About the Role:

As a Traveling Superintendent with Renovo Construction, you will travel to job sites and have the opportunity to live in different parts of the country throughout the duration of the project. You will be responsible for:

• Managing on-site construction and with oversite of our Subcontractors, Vendors and Laborers


• Planning, overseeing and maintaining site safety (OSHA requirements) and site organization.


• Managing the implementation of the project documents with subcontractors


• Creating and updating the 2-week look ahead every week.


• Collaborating with client and property team to identify and maintain the critical path schedule.


• Ground up experience a MUST


• Minimum of 5 years of construction supervisory experience in commercial construction


• Advanced knowledge of associated trades including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, etc.


• Experience scheduling work, materials, manpower, subcontractors and equipment


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)


• Ability to travel

The expected salary range for this position is between $100,000 and$130,000. The actual compensation will be based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, market and business considerations and other factors permitted by law.
