Job summary

Lemartec Site Safety Manager is responsible for promoting and ensuring site safety across projects, coordinating safety regulations, and serving as the primary contact for owners, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and Lemartec’s team on safety matters.

Provides safety training, conducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections, and plans comprehensive safety programs. This role involves travel across the US up to 100% of the time to support multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in occupational health or related field preferred.
• Bilingual English and Spanish is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• OSHA 30 certification at a minimum.
• CHST preferred or ability to complete CHST within 6 months of hire.
• Data center project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct safety processes and training for ongoing safety awareness, emergency response, and new-employee orientation.
• Develop, deliver, and maintain OSHA written management processes including recordkeeping.
• Perform daily site safety inspections and management of safety equipment including fall protection.
• Establish schedules for Job Hazard Analyses and their review/acceptance.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive Job Hazard Analysis program with tracking.
• Accident reporting, investigation, and recordkeeping.
• Ensure subcontractor safety compliance.
• Analyze safety data related to incidents and near-misses and prepare weekly reports.
• Coordinate site safety documentation and weekly written reports.
