Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking an experienced traveling Superintendent to lead large-scale, multi-million dollar projects in our Industrial/Industrial-Aerospace markets. Based out of Nashville, TN, this role will travel to sites across GA, AL, NC, SC, and FL.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; minimum of 5 years of relevant construction experience
• Industrial or Industrial/Aerospace experience preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings and reports
• Strong verbal and written communication and leadership skills
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Advocate safety as a priority on the jobsite and enforce safety plans and policies
• Supervise and coordinate management of construction projects with owners, designers, and subcontractors
• Develop detailed schedules and production plans with budget and safety goals
• Assist Project Manager with project status reports
• Prepare or oversee payroll and HR documentation
• Review plans and coordination of shop drawings
• Procure tools and materials to meet the schedule
• Determine staffing levels and equipment for each phase
• Recruit and direct on-site field personnel
• Resolve complaints with HR and Legal assistance
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve construction issues
• Ensure schedules are adhered to and supervise subcontractors
• Coordinate regulatory inspections
