Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to support pharmacy teams across stores in the district. The role covers scheduling shifts, ensuring safe dispensing, and delivering patient care with empathy. This part-time position requires flexibility for nights and weekends while traveling within a reasonable radius.

The DSP assists in immunizations, manages workflow, and upholds CVS Health policies to maintain high-quality, compliant patient care across CVS store locations.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled by the District Performance Coordinator (DPC).
• Support pharmacy operations and the Pharmacy Manager’s oversight during bench shifts.
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and patient counseling.
• Provide immunizations and support the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality care.
