Job summary

MYR Group Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to ensure adherence to safety policies across multiple project sites in a multi-state region. You will travel weekly to project locations and support operations with staffing, compliance, and safety program improvements.

The role requires a safety-focused background, strong communication, and the ability to develop training and safety documentation. Residency near a major airport is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with OSHA record keeping and MOP writing.
• Field experience in transmission and distribution safety.
• Management experience in a safety role.
• Safety credentials such as CSP, CHST or OSHA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement the on-going safety program across multiple project sites.
• Partner with Operations to ensure adequate safety staffing at sites.
• Audit field compliance with regulations and company policy; provide feedback to safety engineers.
• Coordinate cross-training and deliver necessary safety trainings.
• Develop and review accident briefs, safety publications, and safety reports.
• Provide progress reports on safety activities and investigations.
