Job summary

Amteck is hiring Traveling Safety Coordinators to oversee the safety of electrical trades on each job site and perform safety audits to address incidents.

The role requires extensive knowledge of OSHA rules for construction, experience supervising electrical trades safety, and leadership to motivate staff. Current OSHA 10 and/or 30 Hour Certification is required; OSHA 500 is strongly preferred. Travel will be involved.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations in regards to construction.
• Prior experience overseeing safety for electrical tradesmen.
• Ability to lead, influence, and motivate staff in regards to safety procedures.
• Current OSHA 10 and/or 30 Hour Certification required; OSHA 500 strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety of all electrical trades on each job site assigned.
• Perform safety audits and take appropriate action for accidents/incidents.
