UPMC System Float Team is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care across multiple UPMC facilities and specialties. You will rotate approximately every six weeks, expanding your clinical skills and professional network while working within a premier health system.

Qualifications

• RN with medical surgical and emergency department experience.
• Guaranteed hours and competitive compensation.
• Unrestricted license to practice nursing in the relevant state.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care in assigned UPMC facilities and units.
• Rotate assignments approximately every six weeks, with redeployment to other facilities as needed.
• Apply critical thinking and clinical judgment across patient care settings.
• Communicate patient status clearly with physicians and healthcare team.
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and confidentiality requirements.
• Engage in patient education, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
