Job summary

UPMC Travel Staffing is seeking full-time, permanent Registered Nurses with Medical Surgical and Emergency Department experience to join our internal travel staffing team. As a System Float Nurse, you will rotate to a new UPMC facility roughly every six weeks, supporting patient care across Pennsylvania, New York, and Western Maryland.

This role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus with a two-year commitment, competitive compensation, travel allowances for housing and meals, and comprehensive benefits

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in assigned UPMC facilities and units.
• Rotate assignments approximately every six weeks to different facilities.
• Apply critical thinking, clinical judgment, and problem-solving in patient care.
• Communicate patient status clearly with physicians and healthcare team.
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and confidentiality.
• Collaborate across care teams and participate in education and discharge planning.
