Job summary

McClatchy Media seeks a part-time Merchandiser to service product in multiple stores across Greenwood, SC. Travel between accounts is required and compensated; a background check and MVR clearance apply.

Responsibilities include merchandising to company standards, scheduling within defined weekdays, and timely reporting of hours. Strong communication and reliable transportation are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
• Conduct self in a professional manner.
• Adherence to the company’s attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation for travel.
• Able to use Movista and/or other company-required applications.
• Have personal cell phone and mobile device, such as a tablet.
• Proficient with Word, the internet, and email applications.

Responsibilities

• 100% Merchandising in a retail environment according to store/corporate standards.
• Service all stores as scheduled within planned hours.
• Contact Supervisor before working overtime.
• Accurately record work hours and related information.
• Discuss duties with Supervisor before performing unlisted duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
