Job summary

McClatchy Media Company in Lexington, SC is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service products in multiple stores with travel between accounts. This on-site role requires visiting assigned stores on a fixed weekday schedule.

Ideal candidates have strong interpersonal and communication skills, can multitask, and stay professional. Travel may be up to 100%, and the position includes a $15 hourly wage with travel time paid; background check and MVR clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

• Adherence to the company’s attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation for travel.
• Able to use Movista and/or other company-required applications.
• Have personal cell phone and mobile device, such as a tablet.
• Proficient with Word, the internet, and email applications.

Responsibilities

• Work within a retail environment to effectively merchandise products and replenish stock following store and corporate standards.
• Service assigned stores on designated weekdays within the scheduled hours.
• Record hours and company information using designated applications.
• Communicate with the Supervisor about duties and hours outside schedule.
