Job summary

McClatchy Media Company seeks a Part-Time Merchandiser to service multiple stores in Greenville, SC, with travel between accounts. On-site position with a competitive wage; travel time paid; background check and drug test required.

Reports to Supervisor of Merchandising and duties include merchandising, schedule adherence, and documentation of hours. Qualified candidates will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, reliability, and ability to use Movista or similar apps.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
• Conduct self in a professional manner.
• Adherence to the attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation for travel.
• Able to use Movista and/or other company-required applications.
• Have personal cell phone and mobile device (tablet).
• Proficient with Word, internet and email applications.

Responsibilities

• Work within a retail environment to merchandise products by store standards; replenish product; may assemble shelves and display cases following guidelines.
• Service all stores as scheduled; seek prior approval before working outside scheduled hours.
• Contact Supervisor before overtime or exceeding 10 hours in a day.
• Accurately record work hours and related information using designated applications.
• Discuss duties with Supervisor before performing undocumented duties.
