Job summary

McClatchy Media Company is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service products in multiple stores around Summerville, SC. Travel between accounts is required and travel time is paid. The role reports to Supervisor of Merchandising and entails maintaining planograms, replenishing stock, and following the set schedule.

Excellent verbal and written communication, reliability, and the ability to multitask are essential. Prior merchandising experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Able to multitask and stay detail-oriented.
• Professional conduct and reliability important.
• Must have reliable transportation for travel.
• Must use Movista and other required applications.
• Must have personal cell phone/tablet.
• Proficient with Word, internet, and email.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products in-store according to standards and replenish stock.
• Service assigned stores on schedule; obtain approvals for overtime.
• Record hours and related information using designated apps.
• Coordinate with supervisor for duties outside listed responsibilities.
• Travel to multiple stores as required (up to 100%).
