Job summary

JEM Restaurant Group, supporting Taco Bell and Pizza Hut locations in the Charleston market, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our eateries safe, functional, and running at their best. This hands-on role emphasizes troubleshooting, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the maintenance team.

You will perform preventive and routine maintenance on restaurant equipment and building systems, diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC/R

Qualifications

• 1+ year of maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC/R systems.
• HVAC/R and EPA certification strongly preferred.
• Reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
• Knowledge of CMMS systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on restaurant equipment and building systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC/R, and other facility issues.
• Troubleshoot equipment using schematics and manuals.
• Complete residential painting and other facility projects as needed.
• Maintain inventory of tools and repair supplies.
• Travel between restaurant locations in the Charleston market.
• Record maintenance activities using CMMS.
