Job summary

JEM Restaurant Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support Taco Bell and Pizza Hut locations in the Charleston market. You will perform preventive and routine maintenance, diagnose and repair facility issues, and travel between locations while working independently as part of a team.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of maintenance experience, knowledge of electrical/mechanical/HVAC/R systems, and CMMS proficiency.

Qualifications

1+ year of maintenance experience is required.
Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC/R systems.
HVAC/R and EPA certification strongly preferred.
Residential painting experience is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Knowledge of CMMS systems.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to take ownership of projects and travel across Charleston area.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and routine maintenance on restaurant equipment and building systems, including refrigeration, ice makers, grills, heated holding units, and more.
Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC/R, and other facility-related issues.
Troubleshoot equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic skills.
Complete residential painting and other facility projects as needed.
Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and repair supplies.
Utilize CMMS to document and manage maintenance activities.
Travel between restaurant locations throughout the Charleston market.
Work independently while communicating effectively with restaurant leadership and the maintenance team.
