Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking an on-site installation specialist to travel to residential and small commercial sites, installing energy-efficient equipment and explaining applicable incentive programs. You will ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction while maintaining accurate paperwork and inventory.

Regular travel up to 95% is expected, with a high emphasis on teamwork, data entry in tracking systems, and a professional client-facing presence.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in basic wiring, lighting, HVAC or related technologies preferred.
• 1–2 years customer service/sales experience required.

Responsibilities

• Install energy-efficient equipment and products per procedures.
• Travel to pre-scheduled appointments; work with residents and small businesses.
• Explain incentive programs relevant to customers.
• Complete and maintain paperwork and inventory records.
• Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with safety tests and inspections when required.
• Maintain professional appearance and customer relations.
• Occasionally travel on weekends to accommodate customers.
