Job summary

Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for travel staffing to support underserved communities. You will apply the nursing process to deliver patient-centered care and collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams.

Ideal candidates have an accredited nursing degree, an unencumbered RN license (state or multi-state), and at least one year of nursing with travel experience. Residency within 60 miles of the site is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Unencumbered RN license in the practice state or multistate licensure if applicable.
• At least one year of nursing experience and six months of travel experience.
• Residency at least 60 miles from the clinical site.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to provide personalized patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to plan and evaluate care.
• Deliver care across prevention, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
• Coordinate care, conduct patient assessments, provide education, triage and nursing interventions.
• Practice within the full scope of nursing standards and licensure requirements.
