Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking an Associate Director of Dining Specialist to travel regionally and support dining operations across communities. The role is 100% travel, with a 10 day on/4 day off schedule, primarily supporting the Northeast but travel across the Upper Midwest as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred.
• A minimum of five years dining services experience with two or more years of supervisory experience in senior housing hospitality required.
• Must obtain/hold local, state and/or county food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates.
• ServSafe Certification is required. Registered dietitian or Certified Dietary Manager preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, train and coordinate dining service activities within the assigned division.
• Support regional directors and dining managers to improve dining operations and cost efficiency.
• Lead staff hiring, training and performance management.
• Assist with start-up of new dining services departments and menu system setup.
• Develop and revise dining service forms, policies and training tools.
