Job summary

Cerris is seeking a Quality Control Specialist (Civil/Structural) for Federal projects with traveling requirements, based in Abilene, TX. You will support the QA/QC Site Supervisor, review specs, inspect materials, and ensure compliance with shop drawings and project documents.

The role requires 3+ years in construction QA/QC, experience with mechanical/plumbing codes, and proficiency with MS Office and construction management software.

Qualifications

Experience in installation or design of mechanical and plumbing systems.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and construction management software.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and plumbing codes.
Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing the project QA/QC program.
Review specifications, drawings, submittals, installation drawings to ensure compliance.
Inspect materials, equipment, installation processes and installed systems.
Coordinate and conduct required tests and inspections at applicable points for compliance.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, NCRs, and QA/QC documents.
