Job summary

Cerris Builders is seeking a QA/QC support role to assist the Site Supervisor in ensuring timely QA/QC program execution on construction projects. Responsibilities include reviewing specifications, inspecting systems, and maintaining records.

The candidate should have experience with mechanical/plumbing systems, strong codes knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office and construction software. Travel to sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in installation or design of mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Proficient in MS Office and construction management software.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and plumbing codes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the QA/QC program.
• Review specs, drawings, submittals for compliance with project requirements.
• Inspect materials, equipment, and installations to ensure conformance with shop drawings and docs.
• Coordinate tests and inspections at witness points and project completion.
• Maintain detailed QA/QC records and NCRs per program.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCAs) and drive improvements.
• Prepare QA/QC documentation for records handover and close-out.
• Promote safety and quality programs across projects.
