Job summary

FST Technical Services is seeking a QA/QC Civil/Structural Inspector for a long-term travel assignment in Childress, Texas. You’ll assess civil and structural construction for quality, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, and codes while reporting daily inspection results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Civil and/or Structural construction inspection experience.
• Experience inspecting concrete, structural steel, or both.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in an active construction environment.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite in Childress, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Performing quality inspections of concrete and structural steel construction
• Inspecting reinforcing steel, formwork, anchor bolts, embeds, and structural steel installation
• Verifying work complies with project drawings, specifications, and quality requirements
• Preparing daily inspection reports and documenting inspection results

What You’ll Do

As a QA/QC Inspector (Civil/Structural), you’ll help ensure civil and structural construction activities meet project specifications, applicable codes, and the highest quality standards.
