Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an Experienced QC Lead to manage AISC/ASME Quality Control Plans on a major construction project in Monroe, LA. You will coordinate with project teams, owners, inspectors, and vendors to ensure full compliance with codes and contract documents.

Responsibilities include developing QC procedures, overseeing weld inspections, NDE testing, document control, and timely closeout documentation while mentoring staff and driving safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years of experience or equivalent.
• ASNT NDT Level II certification preferred but not required.
• CWI certification preferred but not required.
• Proficiency applying AISC and/or ASME standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage development and implementation of AISC/ASME QC Plan with project team and stakeholders.
• Oversee materials tracking, weld inspections, NDE testing, and non-conformance documentation.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure full contract compliance.
• Lead, coach, and mentor team; manage performance and development.
• Maintain updates to QC manuals in collaboration with SPO department.
• Interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, and project schedules.
• Drive closeout documentation and quality reporting; ensure safety integration.
