Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced QA/QC lead for an advanced technology project in Northern Louisiana. You will develop and implement the project QA/QC Plan, coordinating with the project team, owner/architect, and contract documents to ensure full contract compliance.

Reporting to the Project Manager or Project Executive, you will lead QA/QC staff, ensure ethics and safety, manage RFIs, submittals, testing, and documentation, and continuously improve QA/QC procedures with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least five years of construction experience.
• Knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, and materials.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Turner's project management software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; leadership and mentoring ability.
• QA/QC certification may be required depending on project.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and develop the project QA/QC Plan to meet contract documents.
• Manage QA/QC staff and ensure compliant project delivery.
• Coordinate with project team, owner/architect and contractors.
• Lead testing, inspections and third-party testing arrangements.
• Maintain documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders within budget.
• Ensure adherence to ethics and safety requirements.
