Job summary

Design Systems Builders, Inc. seeks a Traveling Project Superintendent to lead on-site efforts for commercial PEMB projects. You will coordinate with GCs and Owners, manage schedules, budgets, safety, and relationships with clients and subcontractors.

This role requires experience with large, complex projects and a willingness to travel locally and out of state across the Southeast. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or Civil Engineering is required.
• 10+ years in commercial construction, with at least 5 as Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Experience leading projects valued at $50M+.
• Willingness to travel locally and out of state.
• OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid certifications (or ability to obtain).
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate on-site construction activities to meet time and budget goals.
• Interface with GC and Owner; support design-build teams as needed.
• Maintain safety, quality, and compliance with drawings and specs.
• Lead weekly project meetings; monitor schedule and costs.
• Review RFIs and change orders and communicate updates.
• Document hours and assist with project reporting to HR/Payroll.
