Job summary

Martin Commercial LLC is seeking a Traveling Project Superintendent to lead ground-up projects across regional and national locations. You’ll oversee multi-story, self-storage, light industrial, and other facilities, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget are met from dirt to delivery.

This hands-on role requires extensive travel (up to 75%), strong on-site leadership, and excellent coordination with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience in ground-up self-storage construction.
• Strong safety leadership with incident-free projects.
• Willingness to travel regionally and nationally (up to 75%).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organization.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction activities for ground-up projects.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, and quality control; adjust as needed.
• Resolve on-site issues and foster collaboration.
• Provide progress reports to senior management.
• Travel extensively to multiple project sites.
