Job summary

Uprite Construction is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead our Tacoma project and future sites across the United States. The role requires strong ground-up commercial construction experience with self-storage projects preferred.

You will oversee field operations, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, safety, quality, and drive the project from mobilization through closeout. The ideal candidate will manage multiple trades, review drawings and specifications, and maintain

Qualifications

• Field leadership experience on commercial construction sites.
• Strong coordination of subcontractors and trades.
• Ability to develop and maintain project schedules and monitor progress.
• Active safety leadership and site housekeeping accountability.
• Quality control and daily reporting practices.
• Clear communication with Project Managers, owners and teams.
• Ability to solve problems and make field decisions independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations from mobilization through closeout.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, inspections and site logistics.
• Maintain project schedule and address issues affecting milestones.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, owners, design teams, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Conduct daily site walks, monitor safety, productivity and progress.
• Review drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals and ensure work is correct.
• Coordinate sequencing of trades and ensure readiness for upcoming work.
• Identify field conflicts and develop practical solutions with the team.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, site docs and progress photos.
• Lead safety efforts and maintain a clean, professional jobsite.
• Manage punch lists, inspections and project turnover.
• Travel to future project locations across the United States as needed.
