JE Dunn Construction Company seeks a Traveling Project Manager- Self Perform (AFG) to lead projects across multiple locations in the US. The role involves direct project leadership, coordinating with clients, design teams, and subcontractors, and traveling to assigned worksites.

The position emphasizes safety leadership, cost forecasting, and lean construction practices while delivering on complex Industrial & Manufacturing and Data Center projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of safety culture and ensures an injury-free environment.
• Manages the prestart process.
• Supports preconstruction activities including takeoff, trade coordination, scoping and bid work.
• Leads buyout schedule planning and subcontract pricing analyses.
• Manages submittal scheduling and reviews shop drawings/submittals.
• Ensures submittals are returned per project schedule.
• Coordinates with logistics for material pricing.
• Manages risk and ensures approvals/bonding for subs.
• Coordinates stakeholders across the project.
• Disseminates change requests and gathers subcontractor pricing.
• Prepares and secures owner/architect approvals for changes.
• Leads monthly project reviews and cost/margin forecasts.
• Develops and updates project schedules and budgets; tracks resources.
• Drives closeout processes and documentation.
