Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company is seeking a Traveling Project Manager for Self Perform (AFG). The role leads project management activities, travels to assigned projects nationwide, and works within JE Dunn’s Advanced Facilities Group to deliver data center, industrial and manufacturing projects.

You will manage scope, schedule, safety, and subcontractor coordination, develop budgets, and lead project meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years construction management experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and mentors staff.
• Manages prestart process and bid package development.
• Coordinates with preconstruction team on takeoffs and scope.
• Manages subcontractor pricing and buyout schedule.
• Reviews shop drawings and submittals for approval.
• Drives monthly project reviews and cost/margin forecasting.
• Develops and updates project schedule with the team.
• Performs regular reporting to project stakeholders.
