Job summary

Michael Page US is seeking a Project Manager to lead data center construction projects in Atlanta from preconstruction through turnover and commissioning. You will manage budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cost controls while coordinating with owners, designers, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver complex facilities on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing data center and/or mission-critical construction projects as a Project Manager
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively based on project assignments
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and cost management
  • Experience managing subcontractors, procurement, and contract administration
  • Knowledge of critical infrastructure systems, MEP coordination, and commissioning processes preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of data center construction projects from preconstruction through turnover and commissioning
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cost controls
  • Coordinate with owners, developers, design teams, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Lead project planning, procurement, contract administration, and risk management efforts
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Monitor project performance and proactively address budget, schedule, and quality concerns
  • Partner closely with Superintendents and field teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Facilitate project meetings and maintain strong communication with all stakeholders
  • Oversee financial reporting, forecasting, and project controls
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations

The Successful Applicant
