Job summary

Loenbro, a national construction partner, seeks a Project Engineer—Travelling to support multiple field projects across the Western US. You will assist the Project Manager and field teams with documentation, scheduling, procurement, and communications to ensure on-time, safe, and contract-compliant project delivery.

The role emphasizes coordination, issue resolution, and maintaining project records. Travel up to 90% is required; you will work across sites and fabrication facilities with a focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Experience in construction project engineering or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, contracts, RFIs, and submittals.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication and collaboration across teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing project execution by supporting day-to-day activities, monitoring scope, schedule, budget, and contract requirements.
• Maintain and coordinate project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, drawings.
• Support planning and controls through schedule updates, cost tracking, forecasting, and budgets.
• Coordinate procurement and subcontractor activities, including material purchases and onboarding.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to facilitate communication and resolve issues.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance per policies and contracts.
• Assist with field operations and project closeout activities.
