Job summary

NexGen, the traveling project engineer role within Gray Construction's Concrete Team, seeks a motivated entry-level professional to support project life cycles from Franklin, TN with travel to field sites. You will assist safety, cost reporting, scheduling, and procurement while collaborating with general contractors and owners under supervision.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• At least four years of relevant construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project safety compliance efforts.
• Support understanding and distribution of job cost information and project estimates.
• Contribute to project sequencing and scheduling efforts.
• Help track project progress and analyze production.
• Assist in project cost reporting and other admin duties.
• Support material/equipment procurement processes.
• Help manage change order requests and tracking.
• Coordinate with general contractors/owners under supervision.
• Assist with reporting requirements including field time, productivity, materials, and safety.
