Job summary

UC Davis Health in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician 2 (Per Diem) to provide outpatient pharmacy support under supervision. Travel to all outpatient pharmacies in Sacramento, Roseville, and Davis is required.

The role is 20% of a full-time schedule with on-site responsibilities across multiple sites. The technician will assist with drug distribution, inventory control, and support third-party billing processes, requiring California licensure and current knowledge of pharmacy

Qualifications

• California Licensed Pharmacy Technician
• 2 years outpatient pharmacy experience
• Experience in outpatient pharmacy within last 2 years
• Knowledge of third-party insurances and Medicare Plan-B
• Knowledge of Medi-Cal Formulary and third-party billing
• Knowledge of California Pharmacy Law
• Pharmacy terminology knowledge

Responsibilities

• 75% - DRUG DISTRIBUTION
• 25% - Maintain Pharmacy/Inventory Control
