Job summary

UC Davis Health Outpatient pharmacies are seeking a Technician 2 to join our team in the Sacramento area. This role involves dispensing and distributing medications, compounding, maintaining pharmacy robotics, handling inventory, and processing prescription billing.

Travel to all outpatient pharmacies is required. The ideal candidate has California technician licensure, outpatient experience, and proficiency with EPIC systems, third-party billing, and pharmacy calculations.

Qualifications

• California Licensed Pharmacy Technician
• One year of outpatient Pharmacy Technician experience
• Operate Pharmacy Information System and other computer programs
• Working knowledge of California Pharmacy Law
• Working knowledge of third-party insurances (Medicare Part B, Medi-Cal)
• Accurate pharmacy calculations
