UC Davis Health is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor 1 to oversee Pharmacy Technicians in the UC Davis Health Pharmacy Department. The role emphasizes supervision of daily operations, workflow optimization, and compliance across inpatient and outpatient services.

The position is 100% on-site at the Pharmacy Shared Service Center, with responsibilities including scheduling, training, performance reviews, and collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure accurate dispensing, billing, and patient care.

Qualifikationen

• Pharmacy Technician License in the State of California
• Minimum education satisfied through attainment of the required licensure/certification
• At least 4 years of recent Outpatient Pharmacy experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Experience training or mentoring staff, serving as a technical resource, coordinating workflow, resolving operational issues, or supporting daily operations
• Working knowledge in billing current third-party insurances, Medicare Part B and California State Medicaid
• Working knowledge in submitting authorization requests for medications
• Must be able to accurately perform pharmacy calculations
• Working knowledge of current California Pharmacy Law
• Ability to operate Pharmacy Information System and other computer programs
