Job summary

UC Davis Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician 2 PD to provide technical support under the supervision of an ambulatory care pharmacist. The role includes monthly nursing and pharmacy area inspections and travel to all outpatient pharmacies in Sacramento, Roseville, and Davis.

Responsibilities include 75% drug distribution and 25% inventory control, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of outpatient pharmacy experience, working as a Pharmacy Technician
• Knowledge of third-party insurances, Medicare Plan-B, or manual claims
• Knowledge of current Medi-Cal Formulary and other third-party billing systems
• Knowledge of current California Pharmacy Law
• Working knowledge of pharmacy terminology, generic/brand name drugs and abbreviations

Responsibilities
