Job summary

42 North Dental seeks a Specialty Dental Assistant to support dentists and patients across multiple locations, including Malden. You will assist chairside, capture radiographs, educate patients, and join a team built by dentists, for dentists to ensure high-quality care.

Travel between Abington, Arlington, Brockton, Canton, and Malden is required with mileage reimbursement. The hourly rate is $34–$38, with growth potential in a dynamic, patient-focused team and a commitment to excellent patient

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• CDA preferred and state certifications required.
• Reliable transportation for travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment.
• Chairside assisting during dental procedures.
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures.
• Provide post-operative instructions and patient education.
• Prepare, break down, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments.
• Maintain infection control, OSHA and HIPPA compliance.
• Maintain dental supply inventory.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

The Specialty Dental Assistant will provide clinical support to facilitate the relationship between our patients and dentists, increase the efficiency of delivering quality dental care, and maintain communication between dentists, patients, and administrative staff to ensure a positive patient experience.

Our Specialty team travels to multiple locations. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel required. Mileage reimbursement provided.

This role requires travel to the following locations: Abington, Arlington, Brockton, Canton, and Malden.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
• Maintain dental supply inventory
• Perform other related job duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

• Must have reliable transportation to travel between locations

• C.D.A. preferred
• Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state
